Anyone know how I could get a red-dot sight on my minimag? I'd like to make my Minimag into a "sniper" :shooting:

Do you have a sight rail? if not, you need something like this:

The standard "winged" rail is in fact a scope mount. Depending on the optics you want to mount you can do it on the side of the marker too.

A standard old school 'Mag rail has sight rails molded into the sides. A lot of people miss that.

A couple of years ago just for the hell of it I wanted to see how many sights I could put on my 'Mag...

Anyone know how I could get a red-dot sight on my minimag? I'd like to make my Minimag into a "sniper" :shooting:I use to have a red dot sight on my powerfeed mag. The best method is to get a mag sight rail. They usually slide on over the body from the back. Even then you might want to use a raised set of scope rings to get your red dot higher to see past the powerfeed tube. Inside the rings, put a couple of spacers to raise the back of the scope/red dot. This makes it easier to sight the red-dot. If you don't raise the back, you will be near the limits of the setting to compensate for the trajectory of a paintball gun.

Did you know that the AM/MM rail is machined as a mount along both sides?

I'm surprised that not many people knew that it was a mount.

save the money and just get a "ghost ring" (basically a piece of tubing that had been cut open to fit onto the rail). ive had friends that got red dot sights and thats all they turn into (the concept is jsut to help you limit you field of view.

the only things that are really worth it to put on a marker sight wise (IMHO) is a ghost ring, or an NV scope for those scenario players that want to play at night

I just bought a 2x 40 mm green/red dot sight. i dont really plan on using it for the red dot. i want it for the 2x zoom in the woods ;) being able to pick out your target vs a stump is key lol

If you want a raised sight rail I have a LNIB chrome one. Still has price-sticker residue
