Alright somebody here has to know what happened with this listing

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320240415473&_trksid=p2761.l1259

It smelt of scam to me especially when I emailed the seller and he offered me the gun for $460 shipped

So did some lucky AO'er make out with a great deal or did he pull it because it was a scam?

It had 2 bids on it before he pulled it.

Well hopefully whoever bought it sees this thread before sending any money.

If it was real (which I HIGHLY doubt) it would be a better deal than what Steven got. Props on that one Steven. :hail:

I totally forgot about that guy. I even talked to him about it. He was there to pick up a charger. Don't know why he didn't play. Well, both of you guys got killer deals.

I negotiated a deal with him off of ebay and have been talking to him. Waiting on pictures of the gun with his name beside it. Got phone number and address to contact after i receive pics... any suggestions? No money sent yet

Good luck. I would say you are on the right track with a phone number and address. But in the world of Go phones that still doesn't mean much.

If I were you (and this is what I was planning on doing if he accepted my offer) i would try to find someone local to him to go and make the exchange.

Or have him ship first.

i'll tell you this. I HAVE been scammed on ebay before. Same thing but a higher price tag. Good luck.

hmm...mapquest says its like 5 hours from her family's house...might be a little too far, esp. when its a 3 1/2 hour drive up there already. 3rd party sounds like your best bet.

if this was last week i could of had my brother show up at his door with some army friends and pick it up for ya. but alas, this is this week so no help here :(

get him to do third party through palmers. tell him that you will include an extra $15 or so on his end for shipping to palmers. and then you pay the fees for the third party. if he does not agree to that. total scam

what I think is weird is that I offered him a couple hundred more for it and he didn't even bother to counter offer, or try to scam us both. I suspect you threw in sexual favors as well. Why didn't I think of that?

He may have the gun, and you may even get it. But it's probably stolen. Ask for some numbers on that puppy.

I used YDNA. He's a really reputable guy on the nation and on shockerowners.com

http://www.zdspb.com/store/thirdparty.html

It's 10 bucks for basic 3rd party. add another $10 for insurance.

$20 to keep from getting screwed out of several hundred is well worth it imho.

Well guys im glad i was cautious. I havent heard anything back from the guy. At all. He also just sold an 08 ego on there to another no feedback person and got feedback the same day. So im pretty much chalking this up as a scam. If its a real gun. Great. I dont want part in it. To much sketchyness and problems. I had asked him about 3rd party service and he said he would have to think about it and i havent heard anything since. SCAM. Oh well. At least no one got screwed. Haha. Thanks for the ideas anyways guys.

Jon
