I just got off the phone with chris, the main guy of HALO. If you are having any problems he told me to remember this, Black paint may mess with the infared sensor so if so try to use a different colored paint, always use fresh batteries, and if you using brittle paint to slide back the lever for the ball detent.
If you are having chopping problems which is what i have been having he recommended a new bolt spring which will get rid of all your problems, and to keep in mind temperature problems.
Other than that he was a really relaxed cool guy.. I highly recommend his product it is soo much faster than any rev, warp, or angel feed system.
