Looks like somebody is ready to play on a more regular basis again.

Doesn't anyone else think it's funny that the EM1 came out and tanked, and now all these FASOR gats are actually respected? Just what's the difference between these fusions and an em1?

For the price these things smoke Ion's so badly its not even funny....though having to find them used makes people a bit paranoid

keep in mind at the time and as i recall the bushmater was similar priced as well as looking alot cleaner, having a larger following and more upgrades, this was also a time in decline for spyders as they had negativity surround them, early problems didnt help, as well as it looking bulky and that it to me just diddnt look like it was well desighned or made any improvements to the general idea,

same stagnation kingman seems to be in once again

The EM1 is different than all the other FASORs, Dragun "The One", Wrath, etc., because it uses a spring on the back of the bolt to pull the bolt and ram back, where the others use a spring in front of the ram to push everything back

FASORs are some of the most underrated guns out there. Theyre LP, smooth to shoot, and theyre cheap

Ill take a FASOR over a cheap spool gun hands down

pffft. i'm gonna pass, damnit!

got some macro today, just shot it... 20 BPS ramping is crazy. 15 is a bit more acceptable for field use... i'll probably stick to semi for walk on anyways, i can shoot it fast enough

just curious as to why that is. I just bought a "cheap spool gun" not too long ago.

For me its alot of differnet reasons
ease of maintenance, my fasor only has 1 moving oring, and its on the back of the ram, Ive never had to replace it even though its seen almost 4 yrs of pretty regular use
the bolt field strips on most FASORS just like a Timmy, pull the pin up slide bolt out
FASORs are pretty efficient
even the cheapest FASORs (except the EM1) come with an eye of some sort
not made out of plastic, even the RPM, about the cheapest FASOR made, was all metal construction
and personally I just like the way a FASOR shoots more

dont get me wrong, a high end spooler is a nice shooting gun, I just like the way bolted guns shoot more

FASORs are good depending on who makes them and the quality control involved.
You need to realize that pretty much 100% of them come from Michael Spurlock. He is the guy who did the Dragun guns, then went to work with oddessey, turned the dragun guns into oddessey guns, and when things went south with that deal, Diablo started coming out with the same type of markers. (its also interesting to note that Michael Spurlock is the designer of the Pulse loader, which violated many of Oddessey's patents) He also made the wraith, which when I spoke with him, he even admitted as a failure (mostly due to detents that cause the paint to break, or would tear in half)

The DP fusion line of markers are a bit different. I've shot them before and found them to be quite well built. I really don't think spurlock has any involvement with them, but if he does, then he finially stepped up his game, instead of rebranding the same design for 5 years.

First off, what kind of marker is this? A Fusion?

And what does the acronym FASOR mean? I am a little out of the loop on that apparently....
