Hi

I just ordered my for AGD Marker. I am getting a Tac one warp.

I want to mount my Qloader but am having trouble finding the lowest profile elbow. It was suggested that an ION mounting kit from Qloader would be best. The problem is I'm not sure the thread is the same on the Tac one. The kit replaces the Tac one feed neck with a Qloader feed neck and elbow. I like the profile but dont want to order parts that won't be used.

My research online so far has given conflicting thread types for the Ion and for the Tac one. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

all tac and ule bodies use angel threads for the feedneck and the ball detents.(unless i am way out of it) however i am unsure as to what the ion uses, (i hurl every time i get close to one)

hope that helped some

Yup that gets me half way.

Thanks.

Anyone know the feed neck thread of a Ion?

You said you got a tac one warp, is it warp left or warp right? Or do you just meant, regular and no warp?

Hi sorry first day on the job. I couldnt log back in for some reason. The Tac one I ordered is a warp left body, the warp right isnt available any longer I was told.

As far as the mounting goes, if you want a really tight corner fitting here is what you need:

The 90 degree elbow with the fitting

90º Elbow Feed and the Hose Adapter Sleeve.

Those 2 item will allow you to connect the qloader hose directly into the warp left of the tac one.

The second item that you may want is the CMS, since if you are ordering, you may as well order all of them at the same time. Shipping for some reason is really expensive.

The CMS will give you more option to mount the Qpods for a tight fitting. Even though if you keep the original gas through fore-grip that goes with the tac one, you shouldn't have any problem mounting the qpods to the left side and then use the hose to feed to the 90 degree elbow.

You shouldn't need an ion feed-neck or any of those, they were meant for the center feed marker and not a warp left.

basically it would look something like this:

except that's a warp right.

or you can go like this guy with copper fitting, it look really nice

and finally a warp left tac one, but it doesn't seem to have a picture of the other side

the Ion kit from qloader DOES work. It is what I use with my warp. It is much smaller than the fittings that come with the warp.

Awesome stuff. You have been around the forums ( not just this one lol ) I can see. I own a metal working shop so I'm really interested in the copper setup but I will get some of the other parts before I start making anything to custom. Pictures help a great deal and I thank you for pointing them out.

I have only one question at the top of your post you type that I need "The 90 degree elbow with the fitting" . What is that? I already have the " 90º Elbow Feed and the Hose Adapter Sleeve." Is that the same thing? It came with my 98c adapter kit I am using on my original gun. I was thinking to use it on this new marker. I just assumed that I would need a new feed neck, to go with it, it sounds like I don't.

I would also like the CMS upgrade but I will use the Standard Mounting Socket that came with my original Kit till I can afford better. The 98c mod came with a different socket so I didnt use the standard one yet.

Thank you for your support, I'm not an airsmith and I was worried I was getting in over my head. It sounds like a great community, now I'm looking forward to building up my new marker.

There is 3 ION kits from Qloader. The ION MOD (includes parts I already have), the Threaded Low Rise Feed Adapter (Shocker NXT / Ion XE) and the Threaded Low Rise Feed Adapter (Ion) are they all the same thread?

It sounds like the Threaded Low Rise Feed Adapter (Ion) with the parts I already have would give a smaller profile than the Warp feed neck on the stock Tac one. I beleive thats what you are using. I will search a bit farther.

Thanks

Ions, Ion XE, EOS and Shocker NXT feednecks and barrels are all IMPULSE threaded...but now SP calls it SMART PARTS threaded (for the past few months, at least).

Yup thats the info I'm getting. So if they are Impulse threaded they dont work on a Tac one because its Angel threaded.

If anyone who has a warp tac one could post a picture of the feed neck then I could put this to rest. I would appreciate it. I'm assuming theres a flange at the outside edge for the warp hose to grab or slide over and that would allow the 90 degree elbow from Q loader to grab on and not be pulled off. If thats the case I can wait for a bit to find the "perfect" solution and use the components I already have.

Tac one warp left or warp right does not have threading to be use with any feedneck. They are warped for a reason, instead of the center feed tac one body:

The warp left still look like that, so your 90 degree elbow should work if it look something like this:

http://qloader.com/products/acc_90dfeed.jpg

a standard elbow looking like this: http://qloader.com/products/acc_standrdelbw.jpg

would also work with a warp left body, you just stick the none sleeve end into the warp left body.

the 90 degree elbow feed with the adapter sleeve that you already have will work great. All you need to do is mount the standard mount in such a way so that you have a clear line to the elbow and doesn't cause a jam, and connect the hose to the standard mount. Mostly by trial and error to see which one work best for you.

Dang I saw that photo of the warp body so many times. Sorry its getting late so I'm not on top of this. I have both those elbows PK5 so I dont need anything from Qloader yet. Later on I will get the socket upgrade and that should do it.

Thank you all for your help. I'm going to turn in now. Your knowledge and interest in the sport and of course in these particular products is astounding. I hope some day to help others as you've helped me.

Hi

Got an Email back from Qloader and they say "Yes the Threaded Low Rise Feed Adapter or Ion neck will work."

Its nice to have a plan B or C even.
