So lately I've been thinking about upgrading my RT, but I just don't know what upgrades it can take mainly b/c its an older style.

I want it to be more compact, so I'm thinking bout the Chimera frame, but with rail and body, I'm not 100% sure.

Can anybody give me some suggestions on some rails and bodies and what I need to do to upgrade my RT?

Thanks.

if it is an RT classic, then nothing will fit.

if its an RT Pro, then anything will fit.

Its an RT classic.
Does AGD still have the upgrade plan where you can send in your RT Classic to be turned into an RT Pro?

I looked around the store and I couldn't find it.

If your just looking to change the gripframe, you can
you just need a frame for an RT, or you have to drill out the rear field strip screw hole to 11/16
you need the rail, its air through, unlike all the other rails
the valve is smaller in diameter than all the other valves, which is why the body extends over most of the valve
you could cut the RT body so it will accept a standard valve
the little piece that is remove from the end of the body could be used as a spacer so a classic RT valve would work with any body

personally i own my RT classic becuase i dont want to upgrade it.

its probably a better idea to sell it, then use the money to buy a nice ULE/Xvalve gun rather than try to mod an RT classic and ruin it at the same time.

You can still upgrade a classic RT, it's just a bit harder to do.

I'm working on upgrading the internals of my RT this week. FedEx tells me the parts are on the truck for delivery now... See my thread here:

Dont go with the upgrade program it isn't worth it $$ wise, and if it were a car it would be like turning in your classic charger for a new caravan

No, it would be like trading in your classic charger for a new charger.
