Well i was at a practice today shooting some Reaper junk. Well i usually start at about a .689 and go up or down. Well first ball fit pretty good a little tight. So i tried another, it wouldnt even start to go in. So i progressed up to a .695 and still had some sticking in the insert. Does that salt and water mixture work on making paint smaller or not. This caused me to break alot of paint today. Just wondering if theres anything i can do b/c if i go to skyball and this happens i'm screwed. Well thanks in advance!!

Rt,

This is the same problem people are having all over the country. No the salt treatment will not help. The only hope is to let them sit open and maybe they will dry out and shrink a tad. .695 in many cases just isn't big enough to handle highly variable paint. I don't think you will have the problem at skyball because for big events they really watch the paint.

As an example all Intimidators are shipped with a .695 barrel stock.

Paint is pretty unstable. It varies from batch to batch. But as for barrels, the Freak has a .695. I dont know about the others.

I guess I have a .695 barrel then. What kind of paint would work with it best? This is a stock intimidator barrel. Would Pmi Premium work ok with it? thanx

PMI should work good. Its a .689 size, & it shoots nice out of my J&J ceramic & CP one-piece
