Does the AM / MM Rail Assembly have holes in the back portion of it for an asa?

Does the AM / MM Rail Assembly have holes in the back portion of it for an asa?

I think early ones (back in the CO2 only days) did, but middle ones had the holes started but not all the way through, and the newest ones have only little starter divots.
