Preliminary report - must go get red meat and adult beverages at Arthurs soon..

Let me start off by saying that playing today with all of you great people is a truly humbling experience. It was my HONOR and extreme pleasure to have you all grace Tunaball again this year.

Mongoose, tonnn, Cyberave68, HLD,, Jay8541, Freedom, Doobie, Trina, Deeds, Sleeper68, QbnViper, TyMcneer, Lorncash - I am blessed to have great friends like you. Thanks for all of the help, and for all of your efforts to make this day what it was.

Tuna - You da' man. Its great to see you having a good time again brother. :cheers:

Mongoose - the piggy was awesome. You and the guys really pulled off one hell of a meal.

To everyone else. My most heartfelt thanks for making all of the hard work and BS involved with putting this together worth it.

Special thanks to my awesome wife, my brothers, sisters and sister in laws who came out to support the game. Im glad you were all apart of it.

Again a special thanks to Jay for the very generous donation for the pre reg.

Also major props to Dave Zupan for the boxes of AGD goodies.

I know im forgetting to mention many people, but you were all awesome.

Oh and anyone who bailed out last minute because of the weather - 71* and SUNNY.

And Freedom, thanks for the assist in the AM. Come by the house anytime and I'll cook us up some steaks.

Total turnout, 60 people + some wives and girlfriends.

Thanks for all of you that organized the event it was a great time. Thanks for all you who donated items: for the raffles (even though I didn't come up with anything......I'm still pissed at the kid ref.......I wanted that airwalk frame)...the hats, shirts, barrel bags, keychains etc. It was kinda like going to a birthday party when your a kid and going home with a bag of goodies that the birthday mom gives you......when you leave, your excited about your party favors and less jealous of all the cool toys your friend got :dance: . Anyway my point is.....It was sweet to have something tangible to remember the event. It was nice to meet many of you.

Ohh and next year let's start before 11:00......or at least try to :D

Pistol duel was GREAT! Too bad we waited so late in the day to start that! Could have been a lot of fun with more people! Great lunch as well!
I'm cleaning gear and getting all the stuff I put off to go to this event for the rest of the day!

I had an utter blast!! It was nice to put faces with the names.

I loved the Alamo field. Fell in love with it after watching the private party from the dead box.

I am looking forward to the next event you throw together. just shake up the raffle tickets a bit more next time......

Great event. Thanks to all who helped make this possible. You guys and Gals are some of the nicest people I have ever met, and I hope we can all meet again real soon. Special thanks to Big E and crew for going out of their way. It was my pleasure to put more faces to screen names. Thank you all again. ;) Oh...one more thing. TK...if you read this, you will be glad to know that I felt like the Maytag repairman again. Just wasn't any mags breaking down at all... :cuss: :( :D :D :D

Nice! Thanks. The only I miss when using these forums over the Internet is the lack of face recognition. I mean, I think I made some friends over the last couple of years here in AO, even without know people in person. That's why I really apreciate this kind of event, where people can actually meet each other. Congrats on the great paintball weekend you promoted there!!

I really cant complain after winning 2 boxes of paint but I do have to add that my buddy from Miami had the guy from Milwaukee beat by about 200 miles. We still have a case left :D

I dont know about the rest of you guys who showed... But i have some HUGH welts from that paint, makes me wonder if it was winter ball. I took 2 to the chest and they both bounced!!! You cant see it but the brusing is painfull. Not to mention i have 3 other welts that were bleeding... :cry: I never had this much damage when i play tourny ball.... :shooting:

Other than that the weather was PERFECT!!! the people were AWESOME, and it was like i remeber playing a long time ago. I had a blast chatting with people, getting a few faces to AO names, and playin all day. Thanks to everybody who showed, All who helped, Big E for getting this event together, Mongoose for the killer pork sandwich's, AGD for the give away parts, Tuna for helping out those that needed it, And TopGun for letting us take over for a day....

It was nice meeting all of you and cant wait till next year.....

Gotta say, i had a blast. im not very active around these parts, but when i found out that there was one of these paintball gatherings that was relatively close to me, i couldnt pass it up... especially since you all have such great taste in markers :) .

After hearing that I tide the crap out of my sneakers before we switched sides to play again. When the ref said go and I ran across the field and lost both my sneakers in 6 inches of mud. As I placed my gun down to get them out, this happned:

My wife accidentally shot my sister in law in the butt. I think you got her beat. :p Oh and that was my brother John (Bird) who lost his sneaker. He walked all the way back to the parking lot with no shoes on LOL.

Thanks for recognizing me Doobie! I am #40. To Big E, Tuna, Mongoose, the Fertita Clan and everyone who was there......THAT WAS THE BEST DAY OF PAINTBALL FOR ME IN YEARS!!!!! It wasn't because I shot everyone out....I did...HAHAHAH and it wasn't because my gun ran perfectly.....it did....BONUS!!! but because all of you guys and gals were there and I was able to cut loose.....(Didn't have to be a stuffy Officer in the Army) and just enjoy being around people who truely love the game and understand the passion for MAGs that I have.

I will mark the calendar for next year because I won't miss this event for the world again.

Doobie and Jay...It was an honor and privledge to play with you gents!

Greg McKnight.....You sir are one of the most aggressive players I have ever seen and it was a pleasure watching you work.

Tuna!!!! You still got it and can sling some serious scunnion my man! An abject pleasure meeting you in person!

A few people saw them as they walked by my car. You can also see these gun in the pictures that were taken that day, we played with all of them except the pump. jay saw the pump. :D
