I have a Micromag that has a power feed on it- When I tighten the screws all the way you can see daylight in between the body of the mag and the feed. When you put a hopper on it the feed will move a bit. I know on Tippmanns you can put a tank ring around the neck to stop the play, what can be done to get rid of the play on the micromag?

I am guessing you have a clone body and not one made by ptp. You need to have someone that knows what they are doing get the feed neck to match up well with the body.

If without the screws you can push the neck against the body and it fits tight you just need the right size screws.

Or you need to get a micromag 2000 and do this:

I don't have it here at the office but the frame has something engraved on the back strap from PTP. The owner said it was all original- I would say I have about .001 of clearance on all three contact surfaces (the bottom and the sides) Were the original feed necks pressed?

Make sure the screws aren't bottoming out. If they are, either use a tiny washer or get shorter screws.

They both have two washers a peace, I'll check it out when I get home- I might be able to remove a washer.

If there are 2 washers on each screw, then it is possible that these aren't the correct screws. I'd definately check to make sure they weren't too long to start with. Removing a washer would probably make it worst.

Anyone have the proper thread and length for the screws?
