I really shouldn't have, but I have been on the lookout for a fly for a while and this one....well it, it....just begged me to hold it.

Yup my favorite frames by far. All but one Angel I have owned had the 90 frame, my primary mag has one, and my DM3 had one as well.
This will be my second G7, but first fly. I am all giggly about it...... ;)
The first thing to go is going to be that damned oringed feedneck pos. Got a hybrid sitting right here waiting for it. And some sexy arsenal grips too.....

You're really not helping my wanting a crapload of high end guns issue. I want an angel too now.

Actually Devildog on here has a nice G7 for sale right now. I highly recommend the older ones all the way up to and especially the G platform. I am no fan of the A1 though.

The thing that always freaked me out about the IR3 was that finger guard that extended down the frame. What was that all about? lol

The LCD's were workhorses and the only other fly I have owned was one. I never did understand all that "locked" settings thing though. I think it just lended to the mystic.

the grip was a little "abnormal" on the IR3 but that is what made it different from any other gun

I dont know why a manufacture would want to have 26 different modes of fire in a board but hay, more power to them.

I'm not too big of an angel fan. Shoot an A1 and was like meh..

The G7 on the other hand.... OMFG... that was comfy

I really loved the 45* frames on the 05 speeds. Other than that, I am not fond of angels, I just have never found one that shot well at all.

I had an 04 master tech speed and a joy division a4 fly....both shot ridiculously fast when working right..but they were very finicky on paint..

I love the G7's and I really really want one....

But I know I wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost...and I have more pressing expences...like a home. That and I have a nice electro already.

Viking > Angel ;)

Meh, considering that all AKA did was to copy a whole lot from the Angel and make it a great deal heavier....

I know nothing about angels. Do they just work like excals? I actually don't even know the diff. between a viking and excal. Anyway, I want that frame on a mag!!!!!

I think ASP has LCD frames in stock. Their not vert but an angel frame at that. Good luck trying to find someone parting out a G7.

I am still waiting for my A4 Fly in the mail. Shipping from Canada takes awhile. Very nice Angel though.

sorry to kinda threadjack, but how's WDP doing as a company nowadays?
And do they make those with VA's instead of that integrated reg?

Well WDP sold out to Kee and became Angel Paintball Sports. As far as I know they are doing pretty well, but only selling A1's and so far as I know support for everything beyond a G7 is completly gone and even the G series stuff is getting thin. But like most older markers there is an aftermarket support network.

You can purchase a VA adapter, I have one from CP that allows the use of any reg. The integrated one is actually pretty good, but is designed for use with an LP HPA tank. They are also designed to have the reg pack replaced after so many cycles for optimal use. Much like the valve in an Angel as well.

I was looking somewhere, perhaps fixmyangel and they had some vert frames for sale. I would have to dig around a bit. Several of the aftermarket Mag frames were patterned after them.

Thats true, all my angels have been silly fast, but, they still shot horrible.
