sweet.

like 3 dams broke here and it hasnt quit raining in like 2 weeks. most the town is under water. some parts of the town just look like lakes with roofs sticking out. all the rivers are over the banks flooding everything. over half of our town was evacuated. i live on a hill and dont ever have flooding problems. but ive been out sand bagging since 7 am yesterday morning and its now 5:50 pm the next day :sleeping: so im going to bed. ill put some pics up later tonight.

good news though!!! you can use the SCUBA tanks later for HPA fills :D

i have alot more from around town that i havent up loaded to my computer yet..throwing sandbags with a shoulder that just got repaired wasnt a good idea. ouch.

You were out sand bagging? And helping neighbors & family? Wow you are actually doing something other than crying injustice and waiting on FEMA.

my dad is chief of the fire DEPT. here and he got me out at 7 am. to help. we managed to save alot. but you feel so helpless when a dam breaks and a 16 foot wall of water is heading right for a trailer park. looks like we have a few more days of rain to. better go to sleep. im sure ill be back out tomorrow.

So basically, you didn't know all this was coming (unlike like a charted Hurricane), you had your damns break too, and you are actually doing something about it and doing a better job than N.O. ???

Gee, I wonder what the difference is :rolleyes:
