A high-def camera :D!

That's really all you "need", although a nice tripod and experience in doing it helps

Looks excellent, transitions are nice, and some of those angles are awesome.

This would really help to explain to people unfamiliar with paintball about how inaccurate guns can be!

Or to show people who are playing the sport that their guns really aren't accurate and we are just lobbing them across the field :D

And yea, heavy rain doesn't play nice with paint...

Yup, slow-motion really makes it look like there's no accuracy on a marker.

Great vid though, love the effects and transition. The music fits well with the pace.

The paintballs look soooo innacurate.
About 5 seconds of their laning is all the paint I use in a day on my pump.

Blazestorm
06-09-2008, 01:37 PM
You only use 65 balls in a day with a pump?

That's pretty good :p

They're shooting 13 bps capped...

Wow! That was a really awesome video, I like how it was just video and music, no text or words. Man, I wish I could make videos like that. How many frames per second was that shot at? That's the smoothest I've ever seen any paintball move on a screen, thought the angle certainly helped.

wow seems like more than 13bps cap.
I go through about 350 a day :(

Would just be the equivalent of 60fps slown down to 30fps...

Ever tried filming something in 3D? You'd need two cameras, and you probably couldn't move them around, but it would be awesome to experiment with.

Hmmm, I should post a few of my high def paintball videos up on there... If you don't mind me asking... What Camera are you running to make them? I run a Sony HDR-FX1 for shooting my HD movies.

HDR-FX7... Actually at Sony for battle-wounds before I sell it...

I got a price "estimate" but I have to call in to find out what it is  Doesn't sound too good :(
