My son broke the last leg holding his thumb wheel onto his rip drive. I've seen a few after market 'wheels'. Do you have one that you like that is after market or 'custom'?

I have an aluminum one after mine broke. It's made by Critical and never let me down.

Save your money, use a water bottle cap.

It won't catch on stuff and if you bump it, it won't push on the shaft as much. Those new shallow ones should be real good.

Still, I look at that shaft and think that there must be a thousand different wheels or knobs that would work, and a dozen of them must be in my garage somewhere.

Well, at least now I know where one of them is.

plastic ones tend to fail when you need them most, they are hand to have around incase of a pinch.

get any aluminum one, there are lots of desighns and homeade stuff you can use as well, but a bottle cap isnt one i would reccomend.

I used a thick piece of lexan glass. Its clear so you don't even notice it is there.

I've seen people used dice. Which is pretty cool. Just drill a whole, maybe file a little to match the shape of the shaft and glue it on.
