WOW I remember how people used to try and persuade me that there was no market for scenario gear. :tard:

It's turning into a serious turf war now. Even if the market isn't huge, the competition is getting interesting.

I say kudos to BT and BLAST for these higher end scenario guns. I laughed at people for so long for buying $500 spyder clones lol. Add these to the Tac-One and there is a good market for higher end milsims.

Exactly. Shows that there is room for improvement with the Tac one also.

Well it looks cheesy to me. I guess when you have this to compare to
http://www.reapercustompaintball.com/guns.htm
A local buddy design's and makes them by hand. His guns are the top of the line milsim because they are a m4/ar15 shell with a automag valve inside. It doesn't get anymore real and perfect looking. He is a awesome machinist, and the price tag is what holds some people back, but belief me, quality always shoots straight and it would last forever. Plus everything you can get for a m4/ar15 you can put on this gun.

that looks ugly, like they machined a new body for the marq, then threw tippman parts on it. definetly not worth the probably 650+ price tag that marqs are. hopefully the front stuff is optional? eitherway props to Blast for entering the scenerio market as well :)

Here's my scenario gun, I spent $230 minus the hopper which I actually use my old revy not the vlocity shown.

scenario is where the future is, tourny's will continue to kill themselves due to jackasses being allowed in the front door.

fyi: even being smart parts, its a cheap *** gun I don't mind taking out camping with me, playing at night, tossing on the ground and generally beating to hell and back. I would never abuse my mag, aka, borgs in this fashion.

are these selector switches really a good idea?

every big game or scenario ive been to someones always using a high rof that magicly stops when a ref is around.

internal airlines, hrrrmm iu wonder if they have their own patent or are using someone elses or feel that it wont be enforced

it looks well built as bobs guns usualy are though im worried it looks difficult to work on if need be.

i always figured the real scenario guys wanted the durable super mechs, but i guess time will tell if they have the same cravings and shortcomings that have ruined the tourney scene for so many.

okay, I'll say it....

ugly as sin.

I don't like this uber mil-sim crap. I am all about function over form...and the mil-sim crowd is all about crap to throw on a marker to make it look like a real firearm (which is another thing I have problems with). I don't need over stylized milling (a few nice lines is great) and I don't need rails...or sights...or faux magizines. There is a reason I play in the woods with mildly to moderately old "tourney gear" it works and is /designed/ for playing. (I put away the BDUs a while ago for pants with knee pads squeegie pockets and a shirt with ventilation and maybe elbow padding).

I don't understand the mil-sim thing, I just have to tolerate it....dosn't mean I have to like it.

I don't understand going balls out millsim if you're going to have a giant plastic hopper on the top of it and your 45/45 mounted to it.

QFT, The gun was looking pretty good until I saw pictures of the tank and hopper on it :(

am i blind, or is that an optic with a feed neck IN THE WAY. Man, you can really tell they took the time out to plan this one out completely.

The feedneck is offset to the right, it's hard to tell from those pics. In person, however. . .

I went to their factory and stole one right off a mill!!!!! I just wish I had found a way to sneak out some internals. :tard:

That's exactly what I was going to say. Man are we on the same page.

I understand "playing war". I've been playing war in the woods since I was a little kid. But fake anything is just un-cool. It will look cool if you just concentrate on making a paintball gun that works well for it's intended function.

Ok, i see it in that picture, but still, with how low the feedneck is it seems like it's useless to use any optic unless you use a warp/q-loader because the hopper will be in the way, not to mention the trajectory isn't flat enough.

You have two statements in direct conflict with each other.

You can't have it both ways.

Price tag is Over $800. saw it at D-Day. the TM7 is starting out at $425.

Oh by the way, Bob Long played in the Game and lasted like 2 minutes because he broke 2 ribs and dislocated his shoulder (this is what i heard anyways)
