How is the "X" put on?

How is the "X" on the X-valve put on?

Its lasered in to the ano so it doesnt come off....

OR

You could re-ano the whole valve or use a sharpie to color it in....

That would be pretty cool. There's nothing wrong with re-anodizing the valve back, so if you just anno it with a matching black, it'll look like it came with no X on it!
