Hi all,

It has been a while, but I have been bitten by the paint ball bug again. My x mag is long gone  but I still have my faithful RT and minimag from over 10 years ago.

I would like to get with the times and put some new updated parts on my guns. Some of the guys have been showing me the different components that are out now, but many of them I do not see in the Airgun Design web store. I think I want to start by getting a new frame. I have seen gun with angel frames on the,, and ones called airwalks and titon. Where do I purchase these? I have also been told that most paintball proshops do not stock airgun products. Is this true? Can they be ordered?

Im hoping to be back home this weekend in time to make it out to play again on Sunday. Work, wife, kids have been keeping me busy. It looks like there are a lot of new faces here. I am glad to see that automags.org is still around and kicking.

For Triton frames contact a guy called Roguefactor. He has some aftermarket goodness for the mag and believe me, it's worth it. Also check out Tunaman, and some other dealers out here on the dealers subforum. It's not original AGD, but they deliver great products for your mag.

Airwalks were a limited edition item and no longer made. RogueFactor made the Chimera frame (like an angel frame) as well as the Triton.

Rogue Triton (pm rogue about getting one, I'm sure he might have some, I can't find them on themagsmith).
Will have to look for a pic.

Coolhand also makes a similar frame called the Logic UMF, check the airsolider store for them.

Coolhand or Rogue do not have the following in stock in any of the stores I've checked, so you might have to ask them about it. These take angel grips, which are not the easiest grips to find. You probably will have to pick one up used.

Logic Vert frame (what I have).

The replies are awesome. Pictures and everything.

No, im thinking back when I had a two finger trigger. I remember that it was very different than the ones that came with the Airgun frames. I see a few different types in these pictures. The one on the chimera looks exactly like the trigger on my Airgun Intelliframe. The other ones look different.

I also remember that the one I prevously owned that was not an Airgun frame, had an aweful lot of side to side play in it which made it feel cheap. How do the triggers on the above compare to the Intelliframe on my RT?

Sorry for all of the questions.. I am looking to make an informed purchase this time.

Here's a Chimera a sold a couple weeks back. Maybe the one you're thinking of had the Viper trigger like mine did?

I have two of the Logic UMF Frames and I love them. Very nice. :headbang:

as far as trigger all of the above frames are either to AGD spec or better. Im not sure but I think the logic frames use a completely different trigger.

and if you check out the misc. B/S/T forum there are few frames for sale now

If your going mech get a triton or chimera. Both extremely good frames.

If you are going pnue, get a triton or a chimera and do it yourself.

If you are going E, get emag lowers nothing beats factory.

Yes I know the airwalk's were very limited (I've got a v2) but I've seen at least two or three of them floating around... one of them already pneu'ed. Pricey though because of the limited numbers. I've out an example of my airwalk below with a Viper Blade on a project of mine. It is still raw as when I bought it. Some might be annoed already.

As far as comfort and functionality, these are all very functional pieces. Comfort is up to you. Everyone grips the gun a little differently. I only hook my thumb under the back of the frame to keep my fingers a little more free. Because of an internal pneu situation I couldn't run a drop so I like the fact that the airwalk is a little bigger and longer then most frames. It drop's my tank right to where I want it on my shoulder. Just my 2 cents. Most of the is going to be personal preference.

There seem like there are many choices, but yet, few. I am determined to get something brand new by the end of the year.

I am planning on staying with the mechanical gun for now. I really do not get out enough to justify an electronic one. Maybe someday... when the kids are out of the house.. right after I buy and restore a 69 Charger ... nice to dream.

Nice to be back in the game. Here is a pic from about 2 weeks ago. Me with my trusty and faithful mini mag. Picture courtesy of Scott/Mindjob/BigEvil

Good to have you back in the mix!!! As for accessories, there are quite a few more to pick from than there were back in the day.

My advice is to try and hook up some fellow "Maggers" that are running different set-ups... I'm sure people would be more than happy to let you try their rig.
