my wife found a 4 leaf clover, she wants to preserve it, but she wants it done in plastic. anyone have any ideas how to do this? i know when frymark made grips, she did pretty much the same thing i want to, but i forgot what she used in her grips. thanks in advance.

I have a collection of ~ 100 of them. Mine are all 15 years old at least (I havent had time to roll around in the grass anymore). I press mine in a book for a few weeks, then put them in like a contact paper like book.

What MANN said. Ive got a couple that I pressed in a book years ago. They are still in the book with no deterioration.

I know there is a way to preserve them in epoxy resin or polyurethane too.

Most craft hobby stores have clear cast acrylic resin you can buy, along with some simple molds. Just go in and ask. Really easy to do. pour half of it, place it in there then pour over it.
a lot like those scorpion novelty domes...

But yeah... using a plant press... that works great too.
