Depends on your definition of force feed. It is still ultimately limited by gravity, but I would define the Halo as a force feed system

Im my opinion playing around with the HALO I am still trying to figure this question out.

Manike stated it best it is still limited by gravity, but it does propell the paintball into the feed neck. The loader is using a wheel to agitate/sort/push the paintball. The BE evolution's paddels use this same concept but not to quite a degree.

Now TK and the people at Odyssey claim it is gravity feed I would have to belive them until it has physical proof saying otherwise. I do think that this is another one of those discussions that everyone will say they are correct and will argure over until something else comes along.

Just to let you know the HALO is not now, nor has it ever been a postitive pressure feed system. By design there is an air gap at the top of the ball stack in a HALO.

gambit, could you do a test with your halo? take a warpfeed tube or and tube u can find and hook it up to your halo and make a U shape with the hose? If you filled the halo up and it WAS force fed, then the balls should come out the other end of the tube right?

OK I did this. Here is the result.

First here is how I set this up. I took a high ride and inseted it in the warp hose. I had the HALO on the warp hose which fed back in the HALO. The hose was about 1ft in length. Using new batteries.

The end result was the fact that there is not enough pressure/force for the HALO to push the paint back into the hopper. Hope this is what you wanted deadpool.
