This IR3 Fly was my 1st custom project. I bought it off of AOG for 60 shipped. It had a bad board and was missing the solenoid clamp and the blacl blank inbetween the breech and the solenoid. I bought the clamp and the blank from fma for about 18 bucks totall. That fixed the huge gushing leak from the solenoid. I then bought a Universal T Board. I was on a budget and for about 60 shipped it seemed like a good deal

This is where I started

This is the the board and the circuit board blank from radio shack that will be the trigger mount.

This is when I cut and sized the board the 1st time.

I took a female plug off the old ir3 board so i wouldnt have to cut the solenoid wires

I went with JB welding the 50g micro switch onto the board

This is the pile of junk comeing together

This is everything crammed into the frame. The wires will be shortened and packed in neater tomorrow, but for now I just soldered it together and got it working.

This is a video of it finally working. It sings like a dream. I am really happy with my trigger setup and the T board.

Thanks! I liked your sleeper ep mag. The good reviews from you and others about the t board influenced (sp?) me to go ahead with this project.

wow thanks! The t-board really is great...adjusting settings is easy once you get the hang of it.

Have fun, and dont waste too much air or paint "testing" ;)

that's nice work I wish I would have heard about this a few months ago when I ressurected a 2k2 Dark Angel it cost me a pretty penny for a crappy UN1 board with a bunch of modes i couldn't use because it didn't have eyes....

+1 for ingenuity

A little video with no paint. This is breakout mode I believe.
