So whats your favorite frame style? z,y,intelli, 90*.....

do you think a marker that came standard with a reverse angled frame would be accepted by the paintball community?

benchmark single trig frames the fat solid trigger single 45 frames and the groovy fingers thing kicks butt

intelli style 45. Nothing goofy...90* are always to tall. I like a short, compact marker.

I really like my Chimera frame... it's pretty comfy.

No.

The most comfy and practical frame out there has to be 86*/hybrid angle frames. Comfort of a 90* and the low profile of a .45. Best period.

The 45 style grip, like with a pistol, is meant to be most comfortable when held out in front of you.

The 90* style grip, like an UZI, is really meant to be most comfortable when shot from the hip.

The 86*/hybrid style grip, unlike any firearm I am aware of, is meant to be held between the two...like a paintball marker is held.

I used to love the Chimera, but grips are becoming harder to find for them. They were made to fit Angel grips, so they were tall. Tall because Angels are made to fit all the electronics stuff. This height is taller than most human hands accomodate.

My vote...the 86* style...until something better comes along ;)

I'm most comfortable with a 45 since most paintball markers have this, the 86 on my ss took a while to adapt to and throws me off my game for a couple of rounds switching back and forth. The aim point and muscle memory changes are screwing me up, as soon as I can get a 45 for my pump i'll have all 45's.

The most comfortable for me is a 45 frame.

The most comfortable frame I have is on my PTP cocker it is a 45 single benchmark cocker slider frame with kapp aluminum grips. That combonation is great for me.

On my mags same thing. Benchmark frame with Kapp aluminum grips. Although the only benchmark frame I own for a mag is a double trigger.

I don't what angle Rogue's Triton Frame is but that has become my favorite by far. It just feels good, even when switching hands.

its simple it depends on the distance from your body or sholder your wrist sits.. Hold a your arm out easiest is a 45* bring in all the way in and the most comfortable is a 180* frame which nobody makes but agd got close... in between? 90*

Wow you're the first person I've seen to actually get this correct.

A y-grip is closer to 180 degree than the 90 degree though. But the idea is sound. My favorite is the y-grip by far.

To answer the OP's question though, no, it will not be accepted anytime soon.

45 single trigger w/ dye sticky3s is about all I ever have wanted out of a grip (pump).

I prefer the y-grip for close in shooting, but give me a single trigger or an intelli and i'll go all day with no complaints.

Ive got a question for everyone that likes the y and z grips.....do you guys have trouble running and shooting?

Any time I move I tighten my grip, which screws up my trigger/finger alignment with every frame i've ever used except 45's. It seems like the the trigger should be angled out more instead of hanging vertically. Also when I shoot with vert/Y frames it seems like I end up pulling the trigger with the joint in my middle finger instead of the tip, which screws up my rhythm. Anyone else have this problem???

I run w/ all 45's and i own one logic 90*
but im digging the all around usefulness of the 86* these days
my lightning cocker(pump) with the ccm trigger frame feels great to the shape of your hand wrapped around it - user friendly,.. if you will

45°, specifically AGD's carbon fiber single finger frame. Obviously rate of fire isn't my primary concern. I must confess I've never really tried an 86° frame, though the Triton looks really comfy. If I ever decide that I need to go back to a marker with a double trigger that's probably what I'd get.

86 degree Logic UMF frame.
Most walkable mech mag frame yet.

So what do you guys think of these:

http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h116/rhizzill/paintball/frame1.jpghttp://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h116/rhizzill/paintball/frame2.jpg

I havent really had enough time to draw up the frames very well, but thats a rough idea of what I'm working on. If your wondering about foregrips, I'm going to go a similar style to the E-mag with a dovetail....but that isnt completely decided yet. This is just a rough draft, I'm being forced to redraw everything in Pro E, so putting much effort into drawing it up in solidworks(all I have ATM) is pointless.

The one on the right is just a copy of rouge's vert frame(I think, it was just a good pic to get measurements from) The frame on the left is similar to the UMF, but a little taller grip wise and different contours on the back of the frame.

opinions???

For upright shooting a Z-Grip is most comfortable to me, 86 for everything else.

Ive got a question for everyone that likes the y and z grips.....do you guys have trouble running and shooting?Honestly, I find it alot easier to run and shoot with a Y-Grip. I always have a front grip though, which allows me to hold the gun up and cradle the tank in my arm, effectively leaving my shooting hand free and comfortable in the shape of the grip. What I have trouble with, is tanks NOT mounted directly to the base of the grip. I could never understand or use a drop forward.
