Hi,

Im going to be byeing an automag classic and basically ripping it apart and putting new bits on it. I will be getting a main body, trigger, 45 frame, grip, expansion chamber, and barrel. Now it seems like the only thing I'm not getting is the retro velve. I've looked at the parts diagrams at the airgun website and it seems like all I need to get is a retro valve and I'd have the parts to build it from scratch. If I were to not buy the gun, and instead buy the retro valve and the bits I listed above, could I put the gun together without buying the classic automag?

I ask because it would make the price alot cheaper.
Thx for ne help:)

First, the Retro valve must be run on Nitro, it will not work at all with co2.
If you bought all the components:
Retro Valve
Body Rail (and twist lock assay, and rail bushing depending on what type of rail you buy, some might come with these)
Mainbody
Trigger Frame
Barrel
Field strip screw (does it come with the retro?)
Front Frame screw, which is just a 10-32 screw you can get from any hardware store.
Then you could easially put it together, and have a working gun.

*edit* The only thing that is missing is the microline and fittings, these you can get from any paintball store practically. You'll need a 3 90degree fittings (one for the valve, one on the top of the fore grip, and one on the bottom, and two short microline hoses to go from the valve to the fore grip, and one to go from the fore grip to the tank. I actually think I may need a fourth 90 degree for the bottom line, but Im not sure yet.

*edit* The benchmark frame looks like it comes with the front frame screw. Its apparently the best one, it comes with rail bushing too. Its a great deal.

Yes, you will need a 4th elbow, but I would go with macroline instead of microline, esp when running a H.P.A. setup.

Don't forget to pick up a sear pin, wont work without one, and rails dont come with them, nor do the ReTro Valves. I dont see any on the online store, so you'll probably have to call and order one from AGD, they run for $3.00 USD for an Automag Sear Pin.
