As far as I know, you have to be involved with public safety to legally obtain those and pepperballs as well.

Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen to me.

Maybe that's why this person is saying all this crazy stuff about it? To keep Ebay from becoming aware that those are probably illegal? Maybe we should report it.

iirc that was pepper ball. These are even better.

I'm waiting to hear how they perform as a bear deterrent.

I dunno how these are any different then the Rufus Dawg tac balls?

http://www.rufusdawg.com/category/paintball_products.t_balls/

I have several thousand of those from years ago, mine are the T2 ones that are red, and they're hard as all hell. They actually suck at feeding through the halo and warp, so I only use them one by one to test if the marker actually fires..

I've not been shot or shot them at anyone, but I would guess that given the fact they're rather firm, it would hurt like a bugger..

hmm, now that I look at that site, they must have new balls, they say they don't need extra lube, but the ones I got came with a bottle of what looks like regular marker oil, a few drops into the bags, roll em around to get em coated, and you're good.

I wonder if they've changed since when I first got them...

I don't think they are illegal to own. In fact I saw a website about a year back selling pepper balls as a "pest control" item. Makes sense. I think they're a great idea for stray dogs or things like that....

That girl in Boston when the RedSox won the series in '04? I think it was her head hitting the pavement that killed her, not the projectile itself. :(
