Hey guys of AM.org

My name is matt and i just got a steal from a yard sale the other day, check it out, not bad for 10 bucks:

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a254/xxshowstoppaxx/downsized_0917081819.jpg

Its got a really cool fiber barrel on her that i dig alot.

I have been playing paintball for 8 years now and currently have a boarded mini, a old *** cocker with ANS gear on it, and a lasoya timmy.

Here are my questions (and i did search, but it didnt help me.)

I remember watching guys i looked up to playing with classic mags and i knew i would own one some day. (today is that day) I want to be able to play with it though and still be kinda competitive with todays markers (even though i really dont need too given my other markers, but it would be fun to mod it out)

I was looking for where i could still find a z-frame (i remember this the most from back then.)

Maybe also some info on the pnumag upgrades i see on here.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The only way you're getting your hands on a Z-grip is by buying it from a collector or other AO member. They usually go for around $150.

y-frames can still be bought from AGD. z-frames are a rare thing to see and they tend to sell in the 150-200 area depending on whats on it.

I think there is a few y-frames for sale right now in the misc BST section.

geez. And all I have to offer is a bald banana

I feel so inadequate.

I have used both a z grip and a y frame. I personally preferred the y frame.

Every now and then a z grip will come up for sale.

Y grips are a little more common. I actually have 1 currently for sale. PM if interested.

Ok so some info on a pneumag.

Its a fairly big mod to do. Not hard just big. It will make your trigger pull as short and soft as an any electro out there if set up properly. there are 4-5 different ways to go about you set up. most of them having to do with where you mount your LPR that runs the whole pneumatics system. Your basically setting in the frame some low pressure pneumatics to assist you in the firing of the marker. It can be walked but may take some practice. If you want to know how its done you can look here....

"HOW TO PNEUMAG" (http://www.bigevilonline.com/showthread.php?t=7)

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me, tho my response time is a little slow ATM....

thanks guys and thanks for the help.

How do you guys not break balls with the added bps that the pnue-upgrade will do? With no eyes and detents and such?

The Level 10 bolt upgrade, when properly tuned, you will never worry about ball breaks again.

or a good force fed hopper can help solve that too. i run a lvl 7 on mine and have no problems

As long as you don't let them go dry, which only happens when I am really in the middle of it.

If start shooting fast, a fast hopper is something that you will probably want anyway. Even when you don't break paint, listening to your level 10 bolt chuff isn't much consolation for not shooting when you want to. :(

Having both a level 10 and force fed hopper makes a hungry mag. It will want lots of air too. :argh:

i have plenty of halos, but a bolt upgrade to stop chopping is a new concept to me, even changing a bolt in like my autococker never effected ball breakage.

Looking into lvlX right now

New concept is right! Everyone that tunes a level 10 has to go through a learning curve. It's unique and when it works right and stops the chopping you have to wonder why you're chuffing so much. Probably cause your loader died.
