That's purdy spiffy. Nice setup with that LPR. Really interesting.

front grip is too long epscially at the point with the lpr. Might want to recommend to have the lpr sit at an angle in the front grip

I haven't seen it in person yet, but I know Mongoose has put a lot of time an effort into this. Must be nice to have something abstract you think up materialize into something solid. :)

I figure I would reserve making fun of it until I actually see it. I hear it is very comfy.

Wow that really is nice...
I wish I had the ideas and habilities to make things like that :)

Here is a pick of it next to a emag..

there is a spot designed for the membrane pad and led above the lpr.

Looks like you have the same problem I do... you can see the wall between paintball guns (thus you need more) :D

So that thing is actually shorter and a little wider than an emag battery pack?

Ok.. I think it's official.. I want your gun collection ;) haha
awesome man... trully awesome :)

Are you planning to sell this, and how much modification to the frame would be needed?

if there is enough interest i would make a small limited run.

you would need to modify your rail. we are in the process of installing the board and i will post full details.
At the moment it was tested on two Cyberave p-mags and worked flawlessly :headbang:

Ugly version of the Mini's battery grip.

Great idea and looks steller, but if I made it I would have made it the same size as the emag pack.

did you guys ever think about just machining the internal features/ports of the LPR body into the foregrip itself?

IMO that LPR sticking out kind of kills the look, and it would get in the way for me as I sometimes grip the foregrip low.

I do like the overall look tho....a body/rail machined to match with the the straight line style of the forgrip would be sick.

Who milled the rail? I love it!

What's all the milling on the back side (trigger guard side)? Is that for the board?

The grip itself looks like you might be able to sell it as a modular part for any project. If you had an adapter or one that would fit without mods you might be able to sell a few extra.

:) I assumed it had been thought of, but it would be nice to have the LPR adjustment on the bottom of the grip.

Maybe another 1/8" NPT port a little further up would let you put a short elbow in there.

I have to agree it's not pretty, but if it functions then i would have no complaints.

Would make this tons better IMO.

If not, than at least try to fit a 9v in there too or something?? That would make things a whole lot less cluttered in the grip frame.

To answer a few questions above:

We did think of putting the LPR verticle, but we decided to go with this. You can easily adjust the tickler in the position it's in right now. As for any other LPR, maybe a different setup would be better, that's something we could possibly work out, but for the time being this was designed to use a tickler.

The battery is going to go into the gripframe most likely, but we may put it in the ep grip..we still have to do some tinkering.

The milling on the backside of the grip above the LPR is for the membrane pad and LED, it's easily accessible

The rail on that marker was milled by cyberave68.

My overall concept when designing this was to have something that would house a lpr, board, and give me easy access to the lpr and membrane pad and a good location for the led light.
I also wanted something that was very comfortable and easy to customize
i thought about and also told by big E to have the lpr out the bottom, but i really dont like the idea because i tend to end up on the ground crawling around and the bottom of my emag pack always ends up muddy. The lpr that is in my prototype can be screwed in further leaving less cap exposed.

plans are also being made with Cerberus Innovations to have your own custom designs added to this piece.

If you had a choice between aluminum or clear "plastic" for the panel...which one would you choose?

Aluminum.

I'll vote plastic if you get one that is tinted and with a coll design milled into it. Clear plastic does not float my boat though.

If given the clear or aluminum choice, I'd say aluminum.

My original plans were for a horizontal LPR (like above) but there just wasnt enough room in the stock battery pack. Cyberave did all the mill/pneu work so Im assuming this is the next evoloution.

If it were something like warwitch's pneumag i would definitely spring for one.

Warwitch's gun is sick, I held and shot it before he even got it :D , and it's an awesome set-up ....I think when the piece is finished, anno'd with every installed it's gonna give it a nice clean look. It's kinda hard to get an idea right now since it's a raw slab on a gun
