The huge hole for the sear that should just be a slit. Apparently they made a few of these.

I was watching that one but didn't think a regular valve would work on it.

It won't. But it's an easy mod.

Cool. Is this for an existing RT or is it the start of a new one?

I still have to decide if I'll install it on my RT Classic or if I'll mod it for one of my pumps.

Isn't the classic RT valve the smaller diameter of the valve body (1")?

Not sure what you mean, but the entire valve diameter is the same as teh front of an x-valve, and i think that's what you were asking.

That is a real classic body. If I had thought someone would even consider hacking it up, I would have sniped it.

Yes. So you can't just slide a non-Classic-RT valve in there at all, can you? Even if you ran air a different route, the body is the standard diameter and extends over the valve.

Correct, you would need to cut the body down, but if you cut that specific body down, it could be bad for your health. ;)

QFT. I wouldn't try it. I'd just put it on your RT Classic. It would avoid several of us having to buy plane tickets :ninja: :p

LOL! I won't hack it. No way! Not after seeing it mounted as it is. Maybe I'll mill my black RT classic and use it in one of my pumps. Maybe not... LOL
