Not sure if there are a lot of the Old Guard around from when I was much more active on here, but as of yesterday I became a father for the first time! My Son, Gunnar James Sloan, was born at 11:45 AM and is 8 lbs., 5 oz. He rocks!!! Both Mommy and Son are doing great.

Congrats, but for the record most people only become a daddy one time, unless they somehow go back in time and do something weird. ;)

Or good enough at video games to do it professionally.

Seriously man, it's sad you can have that as a job now.

whats the matter with video games?!?! they are just a different form of entertainment....IMO video games at least make you somewhat part of the story, movies and TV are IMO mostly boring. Just like anything competitive, people will pay to see/endorse the best, just like in sports.

sorry for going a little OT, but Id be happy if my kid liked games as much as me, something in common

But to make it into a career is too much. I like video games too, always have, the snes is one of my favorite systems because of games like Chrono Trigger and Earthbound, but to be able to make close to 6 figures, or even 6 figures a year from playing video games? That's what's sad.

Man, it's the one good part about turning 36. You can be with someone half your age and not get in any legal trouble

Smartace assumption on your previous post :p at first i read it as you said you were between 22-32. and yes, that would be odd if your wife was 12
