For some reason, I think my internet provider isn't allowing me to download .torrent files off the internet.

I was wondering if someone could upload the .torrent file to rapidshare or even just email me the .torrent file. (Maybe even rename the .torrent to a .txt file).

BTW, the file I'm trying to download is a legal podcast that can be downloaded off the artist's website. It's unavailable at the moment, but were taken down to be replaced by later podcasts.

Here is the torrent in question.

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3393104/Umphrey_s_McGee_Podcasts_1-7_from_Umphreys.com

For some reason I can navigate the pages, but I can't download the file. Not even using a proxy is working.

works for me... you got a program to specifically download torrents? like UTorrent? if not, do so, then try again

I know it works, just not on my internets. I tried to download the .torrent file, and the internet freezes up.

I also tried to get uTorrent to download the file, but it just times out.

I'm hoping I don't need to talk to them to allow me to download it.

nope, tried Isohunt too.

linking it to utorrent doesn't help. I think the ISP is just blocking all .torrent files from entering the server.

are u using a school connection? if so it might end up blocking the torrent program as well, not sure tho. Although dunno why your comp would freeze up on it.

have u tried a different computer?
