I have an old remote that is a little over 10 years old. I have always used Co2 with it. It had an expansion chamber on the end that the tank screws in. I removed it when I got my first HPA tank a few weeks ago. For safety and performance reasons, I am starting to wonder if the remote was also designed for HPA use. The hose is only 3/16" thick. I want to say its made by Taso, but I am not sure. It has the letters CPP ingraved in the check valve and screw-in on/off. Does anyone know if 3/16" remote hoses will work with HPA?

CO2 vapor pressure at ambient temperatures runs between 720psi and 800psi, iirc. It swings a lot. "high pressure" HPA tanks run about the same (800 psi). Either way, there should be some pressure rating (or model number) on the hose. I was happy to find one of mine was a good parker high pressure hose that I could run over 1000 psi on; however, one of the fittings that came from a paintball shop was a 150 psi quick disconnect. :tard:
