So I have been planning to buy a mech marker soon to play around with, as well as take to some scenarios in the near future... Love my pumps but it's time to have a semi again too! :shooting:

So in my deep soul searching and meditation on this important decision, I found I was torn. All my teammates and close friends are telling me to get a nice mech cocker, maybe a blackmagic or karni, but I just couldn't... So I've decided to build another mag! It's been too long since my last (which was an Emag), and so here is what I am thinking... I'm looking for input, suggestions, eperiences, and/or anything positive and helpful regarding this! :D

Idea:
+Body/Rail- Phoenix Body & Rail - $400.00
+ Frame - UMF or RPG ULE frame - UMF $?/ ULE $100.00
+ Trigger - Viperblade or similar aftermarket trigger $40.00
+ Valve - Xvalve $220.00
+ Feedneck - Will a RPG subzero work? - $40.00
+ Asa/drop - Maybe something planet eclipse? Not sure here looking for input. Looking for a very small drop though ($60.00 budget)
+ Reg/foregrip - I'm not sure which reg I would use, or if I would use one. If not I would be looking for a foregrip but not bike grip, or the carbon fiber... Open to suggestions here as well ($75.00 budget)
+ Barrel - I want to have options, I want to be able to run a shorter setup in some cases, and a longer other times... So either a freak system with different tips... Or somthing else... hmmm ($175.00 budget)
+ Other - ULT trigger setup obviously - $50.00
+ Air Fittings - Macro fittings and line - $20.00

So I guess that is what i have so far... I enjoy these projects and as i am a little OCD I like to have every detail planned out well in advance. I hope to begin acquiring these items in mid-late December... Or worst case early January.

I will be having everything match anno'd... I know I want a solid color so it will either be dust black or maybe a lighter blue. Something dusted a powdery satin color maybe... Anyways, the point is I'm open to thoughts on color as well but am not looking to go with a splash or fade. I was thinking 125 customs and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them or would rec. another shop?

Thanks guys,
Emert426

I'd rather keep her all mech... Anything else and my small cognitive and technical abilities begin to stretch to far...

No batteries, and strictly mech. Any pictures of your build?

And if you wanna buy me Dallara I'll switch the body I use :p

oo, good choice on the build Emert. for that price on the body and rail, keep an eye out for a Dallara, it may be an option. no regulator is needed, but a nice and cool foregrip that many prefer is the RPG Gas-Thru (similar to the long CP Foregrip). you can't go wrong with that, especially if coupled with a RPG 15* ASA.

good luck!

A very subtle acid wash would still give you a "solid color/not too flashy" look but also give some contrast and interest to the anno.

Hmmm chrono you mentioned having to cut a notch in the body to fit the subzero feedneck... I dunno if I can bring myself to molest a body like that!

mr doo - hey buddy! I will keep a heads up haha

I know a pneumag is mech, I assume what I should have said is I don't want a pneumag... lol better?

And I'm terrible at picking out colors, so I'll look around... But I also need to settle on a shop to do the anno. And I was thinking about getting into contact with sanchez to see what barrel options we could work with...

No because now it seems like you have a mental illness. :p

Barrel SM? Sanchez Machine? I lost yah...

And I don't wanna do carbon fiber I don't believe... But I was planning on running the macro straight from the xvalve to the asa... So I dunno about gas through either unless I just still ran the air straight to the asa.

Dear lord...

Wow... Beautiful, if mine turns out anything like that I will be more than happy.

Edit: Anyone have ideas for a different low profile feedneck if the subzero wont work? I'm not gonna mill into the body in any way I don't think.

That looks amazing. And I'm sure it shoots as well as it looks :shooting:

Is that a lefty valve?

Emert426

Yeah he has a reverse xvalve on it.

This is the color I believe I want... You guys think 125 would be able to get close, or should I look elsewhere?

I would leave the xvalve black, grips black, viperblade black... And I dunno whether to anno the barrel back gloss black, or match it?

Is that the G-force frame?

Would it take a tunablade?

If you plan on using a gas through foregrip

I think this one fit the phoenix curve flow nicely

Going_Home - Do you have the specs for the CP mini gas through? It looks like the RPG is 3.75" inches long... I'm trying to compare that with the mini

Also, anyone have any details on where the body would need to be modded to accept a subzero feedneck?
