This threads purpose is to give thumbs up or even thumbs down to the anodizers
the AO community has used.

I used AO memeber BAZOOKA_Boy for the Phoenix mag.
I was happy with the job and wouldnt hesitate to use him again.
Although last time I contacted him he wasnt taking any jobs because of a new addition to the family.
NOTE: The Freak back was anodized by Rainman on MCB long before this marker was done.
It appears to be a different shade of black because of that.

For the next project I used AO member NU_METAL.
I call it Little Greenie.
This one I gave him artistic license with an emphasis on dust greens, camo, and woodsball.
The pictures just do not do justice to the random shades of green and and digi camo.
The thing is a knockout in person and I would definitely recommend him.
Again I'm not sure if he is taking jobs or not.

The barrel on the green one doesn't match. Is there a reason for this? Is it because of the existing finish on the bigshot?

The parts are random greens. Its a camo theme.
But it was a black barrel, just like all the rest of the parts were black.
Like I said the pics dont do it justice. To the naked eye its a work of art.

Ok, so that was intentional.

I also noticed the same color of the barrel on the x-valve, ok then.

Yeah, I like the look. I wouldn't mind the same thing on my RT Pro.

Considering the volatile and sensitive nature of the anodizing process I wont recommend any shop. That being said here are a couple Ive had done.

I used Gruntbull, and despite the recent transgressions with bunny5, I was thoroughly pleased with thei work and I very well may use them for my next Mag project.

I custom built this from the ground up, and then sold it to TnDeathInc here on AO (I tried to buy it back, but he's not selling :( ).

It all Dust Olive and Dust Black. All the Dust Olive parts were done by Gruntbull, and the Dust Black were bought that way.

Dust yellow done by Gruntbull. Gloss black frame/vasa done by Dirt Products.

Body milled by Marc @ Tarantula Mfg. Frame/vasa done by Andy @ Warped Airsmithing.

I would recommend everyone used throughout the process.

*Note: Barrel (both parts) / Feedneck / Regulator / on/off not anodized and came stock like that.

Seeing is making me want to mill my '06 'Borg instead of saving up for an RX.

Rick at acidrain did the egomag, including the frame milling, custom insert, and frame polishing. The parts all match perfectly:

<a href="http://s265.photobucket.com/albums/ii212/robnix/egomag/?action=view&current=egomag-frame001Large.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii212/robnix/egomag/egomag-frame001Large.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s265.photobucket.com/albums/ii212/robnix/egomag/?action=view&current=EgoMag07-002.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii212/robnix/egomag/EgoMag07-002.jpg" border="0" alt="Egomag"></a>

It's the third job he did for me. Each time he's gone above and beyond. The first set of parts I gave him had dings and scratches that he polished out gratis before the anodizing. The second were well done, and the egomag is a head turner.

It's a shame that he only does this part time.

Although i'm very sathisfied with the result, the black is more of an antracite color. It's not the true black i've asked for, but i understand this is a hard color to annodise. Overall it turned out great, but i've had to wait for it a long time. (4 months)

got mine done from 125customs. Turnaround time, contact response, and pricing were all great factors about this company. the only thing that i disliked about the job was that the colors were somewhat different from each other (especially the colors from the barrel compared to the body). but overall, i recommend 125customs.

I had a large batch of parts done black by PbModShop. He did all of the bodies on the above markers as well as multiple other parts. I'm sad he no longer does anodizing.

Where'd be the best place to go for a classic red white and blue splash anno? the really loud kind from the 90's.
