We are in the process of creating a new rail.
This rail will be RTP length and allow you to run wires and a hose. If you have a mech mag, p-mag or ep-mag, this rail is for you.
We will also be making some am/mm size rails in the near future

But we need some help picking out the design.

During the next week i will post many different ideas.....please be honest and let me know what you think.

Please note that many designs are not completely finished.

here is the first batch

I like the last two personally. oddly I a MM length kind of shooter. But my wife likes em' long... heh... so I've got to put one together for her this winter some time. The second to last is a very nice variation on a classic theme :D Nice work

*EDIT* I meant specifically the bottom two from the first post... go figure you added the second just as I was typing my response

Had to go with #6. I like the clean tac style lines.

Eh... you got me... in any event I liked #3 and #4... though it would be neat if the side's on #4 narrowed a little bit more... that is as long as it didn't make it any wider... Some creative stuff you've got going!

3 and 8. Although I'm not a big fan of the tac look, 8 looks decent because its sleek. As for 3, it would be nice to to see the sides milled down a little more if possible. Maybe try to come up with some more really smooth clean milling because all of them have straight lines for the most parts. Just my opinions.

Yes, an estimated price would be nice.

#2 cause then your gun can look like a space shuttle

Very early to put a price down...need to make a few prototypes first then determine how many to make and how much time they take on the machines.

my goal to end with 2 or 3 designs that many like ...so i figured we could weed thru them together.

#3 and #5 have my vote.

3 and 6 for sure. Though you should consider doing two different rail designs, one being more "modern" like the third one, and one being more Milsim, like the 6th. You have two completelly different lines there.

Mongoose, you do know that a "point" or "sharp corner" inside a pocket can not be machined, right?

:nono:

you need a MM length rail to get my vote

3 and 4 are pretty cool. 3 reminds me of an e-mag rail...

Wow, I hope I can get that good with SolidWorks. So far I've only designed rockets and gliders...Need to make some eye covers for a WL ULE body.

im one of the few that voted back to drawing board. because honestly i would like to see a rail that flows better with the body and with a grip frame. one that can do both of these has my vote.

I think I am voting back to the drawing board too. It is hard to tell without seeing it together as a gun. Any chance you can put the basic shapes of body, valve and frame in there?

3,4,5 and 9! I one of each!! All of those rails are simply gorgeous! Any would be fine additions to a MAG! Outlaw5 :D

Nice. An idea is all we need. Till you get to the prototyping phase. Then actual pictures of a gun and video showing it shooting are a must.

I think #4 would be nice to see with frame and body like in the last pic.
