Would be much cooler if it had some spring action and all you had to do was cock it one way and let a spring return the bolt forward.

I think that would be fun as heck. Its like an old western movie type handgun. Every shot has to be recocked.

I had a similar idea but the pump would work like the cocking action of a H&K P7 pistol. Basically you squeeze the pistol grip (on the front) to cock it.

CCMachinist (of CCM) made this prototype for LK-13 who only has trouble pumping with one of his hand/arms.

It looks like tubes because it is tubes. :) The upper tube just bolts onto the lower tube. You will be able to change your gun to however you want with an assortment of upper tubes/bolts. We are all very excited for this to come out (~first quarter of 2009).

Pretty nifty. If it's a closed bolt design, this could even be modified to have a "bolt action" mechanism for those sniper purists.
