I heard rumors a few years ago of a pump-action conversion for the Automag. Has anyone else heard of this or seen one? I've decided I like pump play more, but nothing compares to the accuracy and reliability of my mag!

they were discontinued alogn time ago. finding the kit with all the right peices will be like finding a needle in a hay stack.

Plus I wouldn't reccomend it for pump - Mags are gas hogs, and at pump, I've found it's been no good for me (using more gas, that is). Of course, this is all personal preference, if you want one, go for it;)

They really need to make a pump conversion for the IR3 angel. :)

Cool, so they existed. Anyone have one or know where one is?

save yourself money and get yourself either a maverick/tracer

or go all out and get a VSC phantom, or jsut a phatnom :D

Well, I already have a Tracer as well as a couple 'classic pumps' (Apex and Vindicator), but I've been playing with my 'Mag for about ten years and I just don't want to spend the time getting used to something else. I feel like it would take years to develop a snap-shot as good as the one I have with the 'Mag.

The last complete kit I saw sold for $250 US. Just something to keep in mind.

Also, they were discontinued because of some problems with them working properly.

But that said, they look cool as hell :D
I've got 2 incomplete kits. They both need the pump rod, and a rail with a slot milled out for the rod. If you can get 2 rods and 2 modified rails, we can both have working pump mags!

Do you know in what way they did not work properly? Also, how are they configured? I'm having trouble picturing how a mag could be converted to a pump...
