yes I know I am missing the jewel on the one side, I purchased it like that (NIB) and contacted dye, they are hooking me up free of charge

they are deff. small but IMO if you can rock e vents then you can rock i4's

I love my i4's to death

they hug super tight over your face so at first it feels like your only wearing lenses, lets you get nice and tight into your marker setup.

I gotta say both look like they barely will protect your face or forehead. With that said I LOVE my E-vents.

Looks like there's a gap between the lens and the frame on the I4 that paint could get through. Played with them yet?

Ahh see this is interesting. I was going to go BACK to the Vents this season, but ive seriously had my eye on the i4s. They seem like they would be great, but i do worry about lower face protection. (chin, jaw line, etc) andway we could get an "on head" picture comparo?

Supposedly DYE is going to be making a larger sized i4 for those of us with big noggins.

u mean normal noggins, the current i4 only fits people of very small stature, ive seen numerous people try to wear them to no avail

/where the heck you been? lol

for reference I am 6 feet even and weigh 148lbs, they fit me like a glove

if they fit you they fit you if they dont they dont
also I was holding my face in normal stature in both pics, as I would during most of a game

and to warbeak, I havent played with them yet, however there are NO gaps in between the lense/mask, very well built, same as all of dye's other stuff

I just got my I4's mistake! The first pair I’ve bought in 8 years and too small for my comfort
If I was a better player and rarely got shot they would be awesome, but I get shot allot.

Looks like new lenses and strap for the old faithful to save face.

When I tried on the I4 I decided I could eat a sandwich with it on. Comparable to folding up the bottom of a proflex.

ive noticed that they are very low cut, and when opening your mouth wide to yell out positions of instructions, a good portion of your mouth potrudes below the line of the mask, mind taking a pik of you wearing the mask with your mouth wide open as if yelling? thats what i was refering to

i own events, and i love them, they are a high cut, so my beard sticks out from under the mask, but never have i been hit in the mouth because of it, the 14's just seem too high cut in the front for some people to wear properly
