Really? The same government that's fighting over a BlackBerry for security reasons is going to allow foreign sourced equipment to provide the main long range travel for POTUS? Airbus engineers would obviously need to be involved in designing the protection equipment -- seems like it could pose a risk. May as well ditch the Caddies and just get BMW limos.

Well they did switch Marine One over to the 101 by Lockheed and Agusta-Westmorland, not a wholly owned American compilation, so I guess they figured "why stop there?"
