hi
l was wondering if i take any old mag and put an RT valve in it, would it have the responsive firing? or is it the actual automag rt gun that is built for rapid firing?
thanks!

Depends on your RT valve.

Is it a classic RT valve that has the smaller outside diameter than the other? If so, the valve are non interchangeable. If the outside diameter is the same, they are compatible.

The valve and the HPA output adds the RT effect, not the marker.

A bit hard to explain. So here, you can see what i mean. The one on the left has a smaller valve. It is not compatible with the "normal" valves. You can see that the one on the left is almost completly hidden by the body. The one on the right has the body exposed like "normal" valves.

any RT-pro valve will drop into a mag. its the old rt's that are seen with the solid air line and minimagish body that i think he is talking about not fitting.

all mine is is a rt in a ule body.

and if your looking for a reg to use go for a ninja reg as there adjustable and affordable.
you will need a operating pressure of somewhere between 800-1200 psi to get it to runaway.
