Alright I'm starting this thread to try and get an up and going "Database" so to speak for the often over looked part of the mag and all of it's variations that it has been made in.

I'm not well versed on these AT ALL!!! So please post up pics if you have them of what is/was out there. I'll try and keep them sorted into groups of RT, EMag, AM/MM. I think those are the 2 lengths and 3 styles. Please correct me if I'm wrong here.

This is to serve as a database as well as to help in my search of a certain look of a rail I would like to get in RT/EMag length but without the ugly EMAG jewel divot and hopefully without the 12 screw holes. So we'll see.

Mini Tac
Tac One (old)
Tac One (new)
Splinter

I hope to add to this list and get pics up or at least links to pics up. I know Rogue has alot out there with the Splinter, Recon, Wave, etc so I'll get those listed shortly hopefully.

Thanx for any and all help!!!

EDIT: Just found this link ~> http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?p=23730330 in the search. Looks like it was attempted back in 2006 as well. So I'm not stealing, but I'll link the pics to the pics he's got listed there.

PopTart or Mann or anyone else. Can you tell me if this was a production run or a one off set up??? I've never seen that one before so I can't tell you.

Also Mann can you tell me the specs on the TAC ONE and WAVE and such on what listing they should be under and if you have a link for a good pic. If not no biggie I'll try and dig em up, but the easier the better....

Thanx for the help guys.

And Panda I put the Armada up under the One Off category... And I think the Machado is correct in being there because I don't know that they were produced. I'm thinking maybe 10 + equals production? Or should it be 25? 50? What do you guys think? Maybe anything done by hand isn't considered production, anything mill cut is?

BTW Panda I really think you should try and get a black Pariah body to mount on that marker of yours... or a sweet dallara especially with the lines matching up should be super sweet.... one of the best setups I've seen....

Thanx RM.... So should I make slots in each one of the lengths sections? Were they all called the same though they were different lengths?

Not sure... so trying to verify...

Hey Marx man... sorry about that... Please by all means pull the pics and info from this one and update the one you have if you want...

I'll happily close this one down. I like your layout better anyway....

So please if you want gleam the info and post it over there...

Let me know if you will/want to and I'll delete all of my posts here and maybe get this thread deleted...

Just didn't find yours previously.

LOL
Not a problem bud.
New threads are always fine with me.
Take / copy anything you want from that thread.
It kinda died off so rework it as you like.

I completely forgot about lukes rails. My bad.

my thrasher is emag length,, they was other lengths made

I have never seen an am/mm length thrasher. To my knowledge one does not exist.

There were half thrashers made. (no front part to the thrashers)

Omega rails are not RT length, but are longer than AM/MM. they are made for am/mm sears

Wave comes in both RT and AM/MM lenght. the rt length are rarer as fewer were made. uses rt sear

cyberrave did many of those posted. Some in am/mm bodies some in Rt length

cyberrave also did a tac 1 style rail. I dont have pics. I think Scott has one on his pump mag.

cyberrave at one time offered at least a dozen different milling options. I have pics of them somewhere, but have no idea where.

I am not 100% sure on tac1 rails. I have never been a fan of a tac1. I dont like the "mil sim" stuff. all of them use rt sears.

I know there is/was a 1st generation. It was more less an RT rail with a insert that covered the back holes in the rail. (like this one http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.prodInfo&productID=379&categoryID=81)

There was another IIRC 2 other ones. One is AM/MM length, and is concave toward the center of the rail. The other is RT length, and simillar iirc
