Pump Day at Velocity Paintball Park in San Diego

Sunday March 29th
(semi-pistols also being accepted in our group - see below for semi-pistol Rules)

Cost to play
If your on "the list": $15 (must get on "the list" by Wednesday Mar 25th)
Day of Play: $20 (regular walk-on price)
Air: 12g’s 50cents each / FREE AIR TO ALL PUMP PLAYERS
B.Y.O.P. is allowed and field paint is fairly priced. (there are several paint options available at the field)

Mention wanting to get on the Pump Day List and give your name (first and last) and phone number (in case of emergency) feel free to say Demonio sent you

Field opens around 8am (I think that's when they open the gates)

I think play actually starts around 9:30-10ish. We usually get there around 9 give or take a few minutes.

Most of the pump players try to park somewhere around where the Food Cart is located by the front office near the chrono range. Makes it easier to gather everyone up and head out to the next field. Depending on all participants, We usually play till they are breaking down the airball fields which is around 3:30-4:00ish.

This is just a once a month thing to get people excited about pump play, you will play with other pumpers in our own private group. There are no particular rules other than playing with some kind of pump marker.

SEMI-AUTO PISTOL RULES (any semi marker following these rules)
- May NOT be fed with more than 10 rounds
- spring feed ok
- 12grams only
- Some magazine fed pistols may not be allowed at the field - management will make that call (tag8 may not be allowed and other more realistic looking pistols)

I'd like to say I feel your pain but I got a decent fix on Saturday in Vegas at the OSC event. I was unfulfilled though so yes I am looking forward to Pump Day myself. It's all about fun and good times with good pump players (and AO'rs ;) )

It was Great - I believe we finished the 3-man at 13th out of 28 teams. We really should have done better but it was a great experience and Great fun. Definatly alot of networking going on. I may have some new things to show at one of our upcoming Pump Days, doubtful for this time around but you never know. ;)

The quality is actually pretty decent. It will make a for a decent youtube video. Nothing is wrong with the video that can't be corrected next time.

Basically the camera was pointing down just s smidge to much. So you see the tip of my barrel but not really what I am shooting at.

So the whole time I watch the video I feel my neck straining because I am trying to look up as if the video will magically do the same.

Oh and of course the output file is not accepted by my editing software. :tard:

I'll work on converting the file (paging ubergeek) and try to find some worthwhile material for a quick video.

On a plus note the footage of me and the guy at the 50 at the mini hyberball field is perfect :headbang:

I'll keep you all updated on the video progress.

Ah yes.... the technical difficulties of trying to perfect video coverage. I don't miss trying to make it happen. I'd always have some issue and yes I would do the same while watching trying to move the angle of the cam magically. But A for efffort and hopefully you learned something. I think your recorder had a small screen on it, have your helper make sure your looking in the right place. I think my last footage before my cam got blasted was working until the fatal shot.

1st game on big hype is the ONLY game that came out well. After that the camera tilted down. :cry:

But at least I know what needs to be corrected for next time. It will be a different recording device next time so I won't have to convert the files. I'm converting the files now so that I can edit them. So maybe tomorrow I will have a brief video.
