I was wondering if anyone on this board attends college at the Univ. of Wisconsin Milwaukee, we are trying to get a team started in hopes of attending a few tourneys about the time of April. This would only be for a few tourneys and basically for experience sake, I'm having a hard time believing that we could get a competition level team up so quickly, but who knows we'll see. You can reach me at pntbawlrmz@aol.com. Just put the subject as paintball.
Thanks a lot,
Mike

Hey coz take it easy, even if they can't play with us, who knows we might need some people for a different team. Remember if you dont have something nice to say, dont say anything at all. ;)

You'd be surprised how well a newly formed team can do. And if you're all Freshmen, you'll be VERY good by the time you're seniors. I know I went from never having played a tournament to National Champions in less than two years.

Also, we do let students from more than one college participate on teams in the college league sometimes - if you're short a player but can pick one up from a community college or another University let me know and we can work with that. We'd much rather see you recruit new players from within your college though.

Are you guys starting a recreational club? The most successful teams are the ones who have large rec clubs because they pull new tournament players from them, coach them, and a year later have formidable players. (Schools like UofI, Purdue, ISU are masters at this - UofI and ISU have 20 tournament players, 80-90% of which had zero tournament experience when they joined the college team. They're also the schools who took the top three spots this last MICT.)

If you need any help just let me know.
