Just got my first phantom yesterday. I know nothing about them. How do i adjust the velocity? And any other help hints and what not would also be appreciated.

You need a really LONG flat head screwdriver....

Well if it's a newer one that has that. It's down the barrel. The "tool" that they sell is actually plastic so as not to scar up the innards of the barrel and such, but if you pull the barrel off, twist the pump out of the way you should be able to use a long thin flat/standard screwdriver. I THINK that in is up and out is down, but don't quote me on that.

If you have an older one well then friend.. it's springtime...

I am not 100% about this info... and it could be WRONG... so take it as you wish.

DevilMan pretty much nailed it. You either use your adjustment tool or unscrew the barrel and use a screwdriver. Screw it in to increase and out to decrease

Some of the older unibody phantoms used the 1/4" velocity adjusting rods that all the nelsons were using at the time.
