finally got an Ion

Some of you might be shocked by that pronouncement, but it's true, I finally have a plastic bodied marker. It's not just any Ion though, there is a ton of aftermarket work there...

It's now a fully mechanical marker, with a stainless steel firing can and an out the back bolt. I even have a mechanical anti-chop system in it that works just as good as any eye.

I have one of the Logic frames on there and it is super comfy with the stock grips. The internals are all new, and although the operating pressure has raised, The shot to shot consistency has really gone up.

It's even been converted to a right feed body like the SP-8's.

I'll give an e-cookie to the first person who can tell me the name of the company that I got the majority of my aftermarket parts from. :)

aftermarket parts probably include hard to find parts from "Lucky Paintball" that also looks like a shocktech front end, im assuming its the one with the proprietary barrel threads? im assuming you have a clippard QEV in there as well! man that gun is AGG!

If I were super-smart I'd have figured out some kind of hardline or something, but in the end, I just drilled a big damn hole near the "ion" logo.

Or, at least, you can call it a modern paintball Rat Rod.

Still, it should be funny to walk with it into a field and have all the newbies looking at it and thinking it's a real ION... It would be better if you had an ULE body for that matter.
