Well after getting a new Emag from Tuna about 6 months ago, I finally got to use it in her first game last weekend.. My regular field doesn't allow E guns.. SO I had to break her in with a bang... Skirmish USA's Battle of Stalingrad 2000+ player game! It was a blast.. AND YES, the teens were asking "what kinda gun is that?". My first game with any type of E trigger.. I went through a case in the first 2 hours.. Seriously, I had buck fever with this gun.. Completely AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME... If you don't have an EMAG... GET ONE!!

I can't see the pic...

Can you upload a bigger thumbnail or allow public access?

You could have used the e-mag at the field that doesn't allow electros, just put it in mech mode :D

just took care of the picture... myspace sucks at file hosting... the field I play at, the owner really stresses a fair playing field... and I don't blame him being that 90% of the players there every week are renters

believe it or not, there was more paint on the outside of the barrel than inside.. from gun hits..., I used my 16" AA barrel for the game.. that X barrel was kinda loud.. and I thought I was gonna be sneaky in a 2000 player game.... but no, it shot great, I was gonna buy a 3rd case, but my one buddy was too tired to go back out (notice his size lol) so we called it quits 6 hours into the game... we had a 5 hour drive home anyways

The first time I ever used a emag (karta emag of loguzzzzzzz) I was like a kid in a candy store. I used all my paint within the first 2 games. Then had to switch back to pump.

I had a smile from ear to ear :D

very nice... welcome to the E-maggot community.

Am i the only person who picked up an emag for the first time and the first game i ever played with it only used 900 shots at an entire scenario game? haha it seems like everyone who picks one up blasts through cases of paint at every event. I love my emag and would never sell the setup... but unfortunately, i think my pumped chord/dallara mag is going to be getting more use

maybe its just because i played with a custom pump A-5 for my first year that it made me extremely conservative in my shooting habits.

and yes, i said a pump A-5... what now... never seen one of those before i bet

GRimm only brought 1000 rounds with him to a 4hr event by us.

He shot through most of it the first game, but he stretched the rest out and only ran out of paint in the last game.
Thank the great Tom Kaye he could put it in mech mode :hail:

In that first game I shot out so many people though, and my favorite thing about that last game is how even though I had no paint I still held them off my position for the entire game. It was awsome :headbang:

well i plan on showing up to tunaball with 1 case... no more no less.

but then again i will be using my dallara/chord pumpmag so if i use a case then there is something wrong with me.

I go through 800+ rounds a game with any of my E-Mags,....

,.. when in doubt,... throw your case at the tree,... they generally tend to move! :D

:spit_take

That was awsome, I remember them cowering from your choking onslaught of asphixiation by N2 :shooting:

Whether it was the intimdation of the gun/warp, the fact that our hit/out ratio was unmatched, or the fact that you kept popping out of different spots all the time, or the fact thay they all seemed like new players (or maybe a bit of it all) we will never know, but darn if it didn't do the job.

And in my book, a job done, no matter how unorthodoxed or inconvenient, that still got the same result as a job well done was a job well done nonetheless...
... And if you can makes sense of that statement then job well done

Alright, I know this is off topic... but it's time for some pic's on this. Seriously... I've never even contemplated this scenario... and um... why? Interesting though.

I don't know what it is about it, but emags in hybrid are just way too damned fun. I've shot many an electro supergun, and for some reason ripping strings on a mag is just more fun.

... wait, if you pump an A-5 you are probably stressing the paint and cyclone you use as it will spin when you shoot, but only feed when you pump...

damn you making me want to play with mine sooner...28th cannot come soon enough, though I think that my fever with shooting all of my paint is almost gone...gotta make it last for at least 3 hours... :p

Well to start off, i have looked for pictures and the only pictures i had were before the conversion.

And i appologize for hijacking this thread but i want to explain the A-5 pump.

Basically what i did was remove the manual advance rod and mod it to attach to a pump handle. Then i took off the hose and put a plug in the spot of the cyclone gas feed so that it fed only when pumped. (it still shot semi but would only feed via pump)

so i had to fix that problem too... what i then did was take the cocking arm and make shift an attachment (welded to the arm) so that it would attach to the handle. I sawed off the front lip of the marker and took an attachment my buddy made and bolted it to where the normal frontgrip would be and used this to mount the pump handle.

So now i had a pump rod attached to the cocking rod on the gun, a pump rod attached to the cyclone, and a pump handle attached under the gun. What i then did was bought a valve pin replacement part from someone on UMS that made them for pump A-5's (very limited run of them) and used that so that the gun wouldnt reset after every shot from the blowback.

So in essence i would pump it back, it would cock... then when the pump handle came forward it would load 1 ball. Then i could shoot and do it again and again and again.

it was fun while it lasted but i only had it for about a month before i discovered the beauty of the Super RT mod. and sorry about the long read but i figure anyone interested enough would love to have details so i provided them

Thats sounds... really clever.

Seems like the same method they use to pump 98s, I was just confused about the cyclone.

I'd love to see a pic, if you don't want to hijack the thread you can pm me.

How was Stalingrad? I was planning to go but had to bail last minute. I have been up to Skirmish 3 times already this year. Always a big crowd and I have only been up on weekdays. Can’t wait till all that ice they had all over melts, but it might have been covered by that last snowfall. Next time I have a group heading up is Easter Monday, April 13th.

half way threw the game one of the guys from my team runs over to me and tells me hey dude... I just saw a gun just like yours. I said ahhhhhh okay. You see the guys on my team fool around with me all the time cause I preach to them aboutAutomags and the X valve and what I'm getting next,or what I'm doing to it. Damn I wish I would have walked over to you when he told me .... I have never held an Emag before just my trusty warped X.I hope you had a good time,I know I did. Are you going to any big games soon if so send me a pm and you can come out and play with my guys and I and give a history lesson

I had them since '97.. and if they didn't slide to the side of my legs.. you'd see my Renegade knee/skin guards that I had just as long
