I wanted to create this thread to THANK the members of the BEO Mafia (whom I had the pleasure of meeting at the last AO Socal Meet), for graciously offering to bring me out to Tunaball 3!

For if it weren't for those guys, I wouldn't have the opportunity to be part of yet another memorable AO event. I look forward to hanging out with both old and new friends. I've never met a greater bunch of guys anywhere than AO'ers.

Now, for the question, who's going to be joining me at Tunaball 3??

No, their landlord doesn't allow it I already inquired. IIRC, there are campsites nearby but I do not have any further info.

someone should use their Enterprise points or something and just rent a big *** van to grab everyone from the airport and bring them down... then it can be used like a pub crawl bus later :) everyone throws 20 in for the pickup and deliver to the airport to cover the cost

Just means you all sit at the airport from the earliest persons flight out is all

unless you are serving Dirty Nazis like DJ was at the Monster Game last year... Go figure Jager bombs with Jager and 150 proof peppermint schnapps - pound 3 of those in 15 minutes on top of 3 margaritas i was nursing and I was pretty sloshed

nothing beats Mango being QUITE under the influence in NYC with me and a few other AOers (including Clare) and wanders over to 2 NYPD asking "Have you seen Clare? I can't find Clare."

Nothing made me more scared for his life than that action right there.

I was on a vacation with my family at the time, I saw Clare in a little tourist trap gift shop. in NYC (across from the empire state building, if memory serves me.)

It didnt quite click that it was her until i left, got home, and PM'd her just out of curiosity.

Here is some information regarding TopGun and the playing fields.

General map of TopGun
Let's just say that I have been playing at TopGun since I started in 1991. I have NOT played on every part of the property yet. :eek: (Although, when my brother got lost, I did get a good quad tour of it).

NOTE the two remote air stations. Believe it or not, TopGun ran underground high pressure lines from the main building all the way out into the fields. Full 4500 fills are never more than 5 minutes away.

Alamo
This is the front door to the Alamo. Note the 'newness' of it. This pick appears to have been taken shortly after it was completed. Not shown, are the many bunkers in the area in front of it. This is where we played attack and defend last year, when Jay8541 put the pig head on his gun.

The Lake
Not a very good pic of the playing fields on either side. This view is FROM the Crossroads looking TOWARDS the Hyperpipe and Lego Fields on the far side of the road. The bunkers you see to the left of the pic are the Village, which has been there as long as I remember and is a fun and challenging field to play. To the right out of view is the Shark Tank field where WKnight eliminated about 500 players in one game at tb2 :shooting:

The Crossroads
Another interesting field. There are buildings on either side of the road. During big games, somehow each team ends up in one side and the fighting goes building to building. This is pretty fun, and perfect for us Warp shooters.

I just spoke to the TopGun-head Honcho. ANYONE who will be stopping by the field to hang out and wants to register on FRIDAY May 29th is welcomed and encourage to do so.

He also wanted me to remind everyone that there are NO SMOKE GRENADES allowed. :D
