I at the moment have no questions about how many shots you can get off a XX size tank at XXXX pressure. Though im sure many people would be intrested to know how many they would get off with a mag.

Bascially the same as they have at pbreview.com in the Air System section. But thats only a general guide for all markers, I'd like to know a more specific number for Automags and RT's.

Im sure Tom or any other AGD techs have a good idea.

For a crossfire 68CI 3000psi stub, you can get around 600-700 shots at around 280fps

a good general rule is 10 shots per cubic inch at 3k, and 15 at 4.5k.

so 68ci X 10 shots at 3k = about 680 shots

Yes but thats a good "general" rule. Isn't there anything more specific?

not that i've seen, i don't think anyone is going to say that off of a fill you are going to get XX +/-2 shots.

On my Minimag I get 10.0415678 shots per cubic inch at 3k, and 15.1423574 at 4.5k

On my RT Pro, I get 10.0035341 shots per cubic inch at 3k, and 15.014823 at 4.5k

LOL, just kidding. Stick with the general rules of thumb and you should be okay. To get any more specific, you would need the exact tensile strength of your bolt spring, the temp/humidity, the exact bore size & length of the barrel, the exact bore size of the paint, and the velocity settings, plus probably many other variables and then about a decade of research to develop a formula to patch all the variable into and a Cray Supercomputer to calculate.
