What do the stars on the side of the classic valve mean?

What do the stars on the side of the classic valve mean?

Each star represented a free repair offered by AGD.

To my knowledge, they no longer honor them though. After 13 years, my 68automag classic still has all 5 stars, as I have never needed a repair. : )
