plastic nubbins and the weather

I am wondering if the plastic nubbins can be used in all weather situations. The past few times playing, it has been cold and raining. Would it be better to use the regular wire nubbins or stick with the plastic ones. Thanks.

Stick with the plastic, they'll work fine in all conditions.
