i just shipped a 5lb 13oz package to Canada using the USPS Priority mail service. They would only insure it for 675 unless I used Express mail...which is out of the question. 36.75!!! So if you are in Canada and you want to order from me, be prepared to pay dearly for shipping. :cuss:

i just recently shipped a couple 3-4lb packages for 13 each to canada through usps. I think the rate goes up a bit once your package passes the 4lbs. mark, not too sure tho

Do you believe we have a "free trade" agreement betwwen countries? :tard:
I think most Canadians know if you are buying something to be shipped, it will cost a lot if the package is to be insured.

I bought a shadow and triton from Rogue and it cost me almost $50 to get it.

UPS charges a $50 brokrage fee to bring something accross the border, plus customs fee. End user gets charged a lot.

I think if the end user is willing to pay for shipping, than why not? Seems fair.
Just annoys me when someone charges for shipping and when you receive it...it is not the shipping you payed for. For the sake of saving me 2 weeks of waiting I would be happy to pay an extra $5. just tell me.

anyways just my 2cents.

"Media Mail" is subject to inspection; no rhyme or reason, either. I've had big boxes of books arrive un-inspected, then had envelopes that were clearly a book open and checked. I guess you could buy a book, hollow it out, and stow a frame in it :p

Sending a 6 lb package from my house to New York via Canada Post with $1000 insurance costs $36.38 CDN . I don't find the cost on a high value item to be that bothersome. It's when it costs me $36 to ship a $20 item that gets me hemroids riled up.

I just shipped to Canada and it only cost about $6.00 first class. Priority would have been 19.00 and got there 1 day later than first class. I shipped a Karta body/rail. in a box, in a large padded envelope.

Only ship first class to Canada.

Oh it's ridiculous! I shipped a tank reg within my own province and it cost me $9  Shipping being as much as the item is worth is disgusting :cuss:

But since we have no choice but to buy most of our stuff from the states then yes, we are willing to cough up the extra for shipping.

Two people living along the border on opposite sides should team up. That way the package gets shipped internally, and at the border they just toss it across. Think of the possibilities :D

Don't you love the fact that it is more expensive to send something within Canada than to ship something to India.
Canada post is terrible.
