Anyone notice the crazy price old Sandana's are going for over on PBN, i can't believe what these kids are paying for a piece of old faded fabric. Everyone look in your gear bags and see if you have one. I saw some go for like $600

I have one that was bought in the early 90's that I still use today. But its not camo, its just the basic black.

What I dont understand is how someone knows if its an old or new one. I was just in a shop last week that had dozens of them on the wall. None in black, all camo.

I'm assuming it's just like the flex craze they had over there a year or two ago...

Anyone else remember incomplete goggles and straps going for something like 500.00?

Having 'old gear' that's still used is considered agg. Their way of saying that they've been playing longer and must be better.

Hrm, I do have several non Flex 7 JTs and some weird, too-long headbands laying around... not to mention RealTree and Advantage (?) camo gear.

/I are pro player?

Really though, if any of you guys have old sandanas that have a large portion of it covered in the tree trunk part of the pattern rather than the leaves, people will pay hundreds for them.

They are less popular now then they have been, but, im sure you could still get outrageous trades or a wad of cash for one.

i think i have an older JT flex laying around, never understood the appeal for them.

yeah guys, seriously look through your stuff even if you post for like $100 or $200 just to get a quick sale it will definitely sell. Some of these kids are offering $300 - $500 markers as trades for them.

Rummage through your gear bag. You might magically have a new dm9 in there or something.

Wow! 600 dollars for a sandana? That is the best deal ever! (Just kidding). I really have not used a sandana, all I use for head protection is a beanie. Who would be idiotic enough to trade their marker (or pay hundreds of dollars) for a piece of cloth? :tard:

or a better question...

is my old, faded, sweat stained, smelly sandana going to get stolen the next time I am at the field?
