Alright... so I just put together another mag... and yes I should know the answer to this but I don't as I've never had to "FIX" this issue before....

So the deal is, I have an X valved mag.... I can shoot it once time and it shoots 200FPS, the next shot... shoots 400FPS... the next one.. 200... so on and so forth...

So what's the deal that it's basically doubling every other shot??? Any ideas? I'm guessin the reg could use some lovin, but overall it's just a whacky problem for me...

So any and all help/ideas are appreciated.

But the good ones more so.

Sorry. If it is doing a lot of that I would have to go at the regulator first also.

From the Retro valve exploded pdf:

"The Regulator Seat O-ring is the business end of the regulator. Replace it if you are having problems with velocity."

Sounds like a bit of dirt or other debris on the regulator seat Oring. Pull it out and clean it. If you still have that problem then replace it.

If there is a piece of dirt on the regulator piston assembly, it will prevent it from moving smoothly and will make the velocity very erratic.

I had a similar issue last year... it ended up being a bit of teflon tape stuck in the reg.
